Recruitment fraud warning
Fake job offers using the names of real companies are common in the region. Luna Agency will never ask you for money.
Last updated 4 October 2026
We never charge candidates
No fee to register, apply, get shortlisted, receive an offer letter, process a visa or medical, or book a flight. Under UAE labour regulations, recruitment costs are paid by the employer, not the worker.
Warning signs
- You are asked to pay a 'processing', 'visa' or 'security' fee
- The offer arrives without any interview
- Messages come from a personal email or a WhatsApp number that isn't listed on our site
- Pressure to decide or pay within hours
- Requests for your bank PIN, card details or passport original
What to do
Do not pay. Check that the job exists on Luna Agency (every job has a reference like LUN-1001). Report the message to hello@luna.demo and, if money was taken, to the police via the Dubai Police app or aman@dubaipolice.gov.ae.
Demo template: the final wording, company details and licence numbers must be reviewed by the agency's legal advisor before launch.
